As a non-diet registered dietitian, I am here to help you live a life free from restriction, rules, and guilt. My priority is to work with you to find a way of nourishing your body that brings joy, satisfaction, and fulfillment. I am passionate about challenging cultural norms and empowering you to care for your body in a gentle and compassionate way, no matter what it looks like. 

I completed my Bachelors in Dietetics and Dietetic Internship through Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. My mission is to help you let go so you can make space in your life for what matters most.

Outside of the office, you can find me enjoying time with my family, chasing around my sweet and energetic little boys, spending time outdoors, and making a mess in the kitchen.

About The Joyful Life Nutrition

I practice from a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach to health and nutrition. What does that mean exactly? My practice is founded on the science that our body’s shape and size doesn’t determine health. Health is multifaceted and complex and food is just one part of the equation. My nutrition services emphasize Intuitive Eating and body image healing and provide you with a healthy relationship with food, body respect, self-compassion, stress-management and the skills you need to live nourished and joyful.

I specialize in chronic dieting, disordered eating, body image concerns, and nutrition-related diagnosis (such as diabetes, heart disease and GI disorders).

When there is no more guilt, deprivation, or rules you will have the space to live your life with joy and intention.
