Initial Consult

During your first appointment we will do a deep dive and lay the roadmap to food freedom.

Food and body healing take time. I will be here every step of the way to support and guide you to joyful living.

 
 

We begin with a 75 minute initial session and continue our work through follow-up sessions.

Each session includes personalized goal setting, email recap of session, food journal review (if applicable), handouts, activities and resources on nutrition and body image, and limited email support between sessions.

Initial Consultation

During this session we will get to know each other and complete a full health history and nutrition assessment. We will explore your past and current relationship with food and body image as well as other areas of wellness including movement, sleep, stress, and more. Together we will determine where to get started, the amount of support needed, frequency of visits, and long term goals.

Follow-Up Session

$110

50 minutes

This is where the bulk of the work and healing happens. We will set personalized goals and small actionable steps that are doable for you. Together we will celebrate success, work through challenges, implement tools and strategies that work for you, challenge diet culture, and learn to compassionately care for yourself and wellbeing through nourishment.


 

3 Session Package

Frequently Asked Questions

+ How often will we meet?

It depends. At the beginning of our work together there is a lot we are still unpacking, assessing, and learning about one another. It takes time and frequent support to unlearn diet culture, restriction, rules, etc. and learn a new way to nourish and care for yourself. I find that at the beginning of our work together more frequent meetings are very beneficial and as our work progresses our meetings can become more spaced out.

+ How long is the coaching program?

There is no definitive length and it can really vary from client to client. Everyone comes with a unique story, experiences, and needs and just like no person is the same, no path of healing is the same. During our initial consultation we will work to identify your individual needs and together set goals and actionable steps. Healing and rebuilding trust is a road full of ups and downs and can take some time. I will be here every step of the way to support and guide you to food freedom and joyful living.

+ Will I lose weight?

I work with clients to heal their relationship with food and their bodies and guide them in shifting the focus from weight loss to health. As you learn to eat intuitively, listen to your body, and nourish yourself your body will arrive to its naturally intended set point. Some people may lose weight when they learn to honor their bodies, while others gain weight they'd lost through restriction and deprivation. Others maintain their weight with eating intuitively. I do not use weight as an indicator of health or success. I will support you in reducing the focus on weight and discuss the challenges that you may face when working to separate your weight from your health.

+ Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance at this time. I am able to accept multiple forms of private pay including HSA and FSA. I can also provide a detailed receipt of your services to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
